Tasha’s Treats is an educational resource business sharing original classroom materials with teachers. The online store offers downloadable resources that make preparation easier and help educators create engaging learning experiences — launching with products already created, with new resources added as they’re developed.

Meet the creator

Lonnie L Scheepstra

I’m an educator and the creator behind Tasha’s Treats! With more than 20 years of teaching experience in the United States and South Korea, I bring a love of learning, creativity, and practical classroom experience to the resources I design.

The cat is Tasha, my fur baby and the inspiration behind Tasha’s Treats.

My career has included teaching fourth and fifth grades, supporting English language learners, designing curriculum, and mentoring teachers. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University.

What drives me is helping students experience the excitement of understanding something new. I also understand how much time, energy, and creativity teachers put into their classrooms, and I want my work to support theirs.

Each resource begins with a teacher’s perspective. My goal is to help teachers spend less time preparing materials and more time connecting with their students.
