$5.00
Four interactive science games that make molecules, mixtures, substances, and the properties of matter exciting to explore!
Turn challenging physical science vocabulary into an engaging learning experience with I Have... Who Has...? – Modeling Matter!
Designed to complement the Grade 5 Amplify Science Modeling Matter unit, this printable collection features 100 science cards divided into four numbered sets of 25 cards each.
Students review matter, molecules, pure substances, mixtures, solutions, dissolving, density, and the behavior of particles through interactive question-and-answer activities.
What's Included?
- Set 1: Cards 1–25
- Set 2: Cards 26–50
- Set 3: Cards 51–75
- Set 4: Cards 76–100
Total: Four sets containing 100 science review cards.
Each card number is printed on the blue beaker directly beneath the "Who Has...?" text. This allows teachers to identify the cards belonging to each set and organize them for repeated classroom use.
The resource includes colorful molecular science-themed card fronts and coordinated question-and-answer sides designed for double-sided printing.
What Makes This Resource Special?
- Four numbered sets provide flexible review opportunities.
- Reinforces molecular science vocabulary.
- Explores matter, molecules, and pure substances.
- Reviews mixtures, solutions, solutes, and solvents.
- Strengthens understanding of dissolving and solubility.
- Introduces density and molecular interactions.

Sample Science Questions Include:
- What is the "stuff" that everything in the universe is made of? – Matter
- What is a tiny piece of matter that is too small to see? – Molecule
- What is a substance made of only one type of molecule? – Pure substance
- What is the name for the liquid that a solid dissolves into? – Solvent
- What do we call the process of a solid breaking apart and mixing into a liquid? – Dissolving
- What is the term for a substance's ability to dissolve in a liquid? – Solubility
- What is the term for a pull between molecules that keeps them together? – Attraction
How to Play
Select one of the four numbered sets and distribute the cards among students.
The starting player reads the first question. Students listen carefully for the matching answer, respond with "I Have...," and then read their next "Who Has...?" question.
Continue until the selected chain is complete.
Teachers can introduce different sets during successive lessons to reinforce vocabulary and scientific concepts.
Perfect For:
- Grade 5 physical science
- Amplify Science unit review
- Matter and molecules instruction
- Mixtures and solutions lessons
- Science vocabulary centers
- Small-group learning
- Whole-class science games
- STEM activities
- Homeschool science
Why Teachers Will Love It
Modeling Matter introduces abstract concepts that students cannot always observe directly.
These interactive cards provide opportunities to revisit scientific terms, strengthen understanding, and connect vocabulary to the behavior of matter.
With four numbered sets included, teachers can organize review across multiple lessons while maintaining student interest and participation.
Make the invisible world of molecules and matter more understandable with four engaging science games that encourage students to think, listen, and collaborate!
