I Have... Who Has...? – Phase Change | 4 Interactive Science Review Games – 100 Cards
$5.00
Make the science of solids, liquids, gases, and molecular motion come alive with four engaging classroom review games!
Help students explore how matter changes from one phase to another with I Have... Who Has...? – Phase Change!
Designed to complement the Grade 6 Amplify Science Phase Change unit, this printable resource contains 100 science question-and-answer cards organized into four numbered sets of 25 cards each.
Students review the properties of matter, molecular movement, kinetic energy, temperature, melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, and other phase changes.
What's Included?
- Set 1: Cards 1–25
- Set 2: Cards 26–50
- Set 3: Cards 51–75
- Set 4: Cards 76–100
Total: 100 cards across four sets.
Each card number appears on the blue beaker beneath the "Who Has...?" text. The colorful phase-change-themed fronts and coordinated question-and-answer sides are designed for double-sided printing.
What Makes This Resource Special?
- Reinforces properties of solids, liquids, and gases.
- Explores molecular movement and kinetic energy.
- Reviews how temperature affects matter.
- Strengthens understanding of melting, freezing, and evaporation.
- Introduces condensation, sublimation, and deposition.
- Encourages scientific vocabulary development.
- Promotes active listening, communication, and cooperative learning.
- Provides four separate sets for repeated classroom review.
Sample Science Questions Include:
- What is a tiny piece of matter that everything is made of? – Molecule
- What do we call the three common forms that matter can take? – Phases
- What is a phase of matter with a definite shape and volume? – Solid
- What is a phase of matter with no definite shape or volume? – Gas
- In which phase do molecules only vibrate in place? – Solid
- What is the energy an object has because it is moving? – Kinetic energy
- What is the change of a liquid to a solid called? – Freezing
- What is the change of a gas to a liquid called? – Condensation
How to Play
Select one of the four numbered sets and distribute its cards among students.
The starting player reads the first question. Students listen for the matching answer, respond with "I Have...," and read the next "Who Has...?" question.
Continue until the selected chain is complete.
Perfect For:
Grade 6 physical science, Amplify Science review, states of matter instruction, phase change lessons, molecular science, science centers, whole-class games, small-group activities, and assessment preparation.
Why Teachers Will Love It
Phase changes involve molecular processes that students cannot directly observe. These interactive cards help reinforce important scientific concepts through repeated vocabulary practice and collaborative discussion.
With four sets available, teachers can revisit essential ideas throughout the unit while maintaining student engagement.
Four sets. One hundred cards. An interactive way to explore the changing world of matter!
